The CLSB today published a revised Costs Lawyer Code of Conduct, following last year’s consultation, and approval from the LSB.

The updated code of conduct ensures the CLSB’s requirements for professionalism remain in line with the expectations of clients, employers and the courts. It also enshrines independence as a core ethical principle within the profession for the first time.

We are also developing a new ethics hub on our website to help Costs Lawyers navigate common ethical problems.
