We’re seeking two individuals, one lay and one non-lay*, who can commit to and uphold the CLSB’s values and help shape our strategy and the future regulation of the profession.

• Board meets 4x per year (3x remote and 1x in-person 2 day board and strategy session)
• £422 per day + expenses
• Terms start Dec 2025 & Jan 2026

*Lay person restriction – A lay person is someone who has never been authorised as any type of lawyer. See Schedule 1 to the Legal Services Act 2007 for the full definition. The CLSB Chair must be a lay person.
