The Legal Ombudsman (LeO) deals with complaints about the quality of service provided by Costs Lawyers. LeO does not deal with conduct complaints, these are dealt with by the CLSB. All complaints about Costs Lawyers should be referred to LeO in the first instance so LeO can establish if the nature of the complaint is about quality of service, conduct or both.
