Lynn Plumbley – Chief Executive
Lynn started her career in 1983 in the Lord Chancellors Department. In 1987, Lynn joined Warrington law firm Spittle & Howard where she combined studying the law with practising matrimonial & civil litigation law. In 1991, Lynn joined a publishing company where she researched and wrote educational material on health & safety law before becoming an environmental prosecutor in 1993.
Whilst a defendant litigator at Halliwell Landau Solicitors in Manchester Lynn was asked to join Yorkshire Metropolitan Housing Association and its charitable foundation as Company Secretary. In 1999, Lynn joined Matalan Plc to establish its company secretariat and in-house legal department post flotation.
In 2003, Lynn became a professional part-time locum to enable her to honour her commitments as a Non-Executive Director in the NHS. In that NED role Lynn chaired the Risk Management Committee and was a member of both the Policy Committee and Remuneration Committee. Following a merger within the NHS, in 2009 Lynn joined TDG Ltd in Manchester to re-establish its company secretariat function following relocation from London.
On 27 September 2010, Lynn joined CLSB as Chief Executive and Company Secretary.
